Developed to optimise the effects of whole body vibration training, the Power-Plate works by transferring vibrations to the muscles in the body causing them to contract in a reflex action. Different parts of the body are put in contact with the platform in various exercise positions ranging from squats, lunges push-ups to abdominal crunches, triceps dips or bicep curls. A pose is held for just 30 seconds at a time activating multiple muscle groups simultaneously to stretch tone or strengthen.

By assuming various positions on the Power-Plate, you can stimulate different muscle groups far more effectively than standard resistance training and great results can be achieved in just three short sessions.

POWER-PLATE BOSU CARDIO CIRCUIT TRAINING

Power Plate Cardio Circuit is a 60-minutes total body workout. We will have you in shape and looking good in no time. Not for the faint hearted. Obesity and weight loss are directly influenced through Power Plate Therapy. This Vibration training develops leaner muscle tissue as it increases the metabolic rate resulting in a higher caloric burn. In combination with lymphatic drainage and increased blood circulation, fat reduction is considerable and effective you will also bounce your way to good health. Bring it on!! This class is for clients with no injuries.

We will be using our Weight Vest’s in term 2 & 3 to give your exercise and training the extra boost that it needs to burn more calories faster and safer. Plus we have added the WUNDER CHAIR to this class. Your workout will be more productive and you can burn up to 70% more calories in the same amount of time. That means burning more excess FAT and your Cellulite will start to disappear.

Research study shows that exercising on the Power Plate may be the answer to osteoporosis: Power Plate increases bone mineral density, improves strength, power and encourages fat loss in postmenopausal women. Improves balance, coordination and reflexes.


ALL SESSIONS RUN IN 10 WEEK BLOCK, WE ONLY TAKE 8 PEOPLE PER SESSION.

FOR BEST RESULTS CLIENTS SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN AT LEAST 2 – 3 PILATES SESSIONS PER WEEK TO SEE RESULTS AND TO MAINTAIN GOOD POSTURE.

PLEASE NOTE 30 MINUTE PRIVATE & DUET POWER-PLATE TRAINING SESSIONS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE.
Clients can come 1, 2 or 3 times per week, clients who workout 3 times per week see results much quicker than clients who only workout once a week.

INCREASED BONE DENSITY

The Power-Plate stimulates the growth of bone tissue. Scientific research has shown that bone-density increases after training on the Power-Plate. Combined with stronger muscles and an improved sense of balance if offers a positive contribution to the battle against osteoporosis and reduces the risk of falling for the elderly in particular.

ACTIVATE CIRCULATION

During a Power-Plate session, rapid muscle contractions create enormous blood flow, introducing blood into even the smallest blood vessels. This ensures that cells are provided with fuel very rapidly. As a result, the body will also carry off waste products much faster, leading to improved regeneration.

HORMONE EFFICIENCY

Using Power-Plate for a 30 minuute session, 3 times a week improves the production of hormones that help to regenerate and repair including Human Growth Hormone and IGF-1 in addition, from the first sessions, users will experience a decrease in Cortisol levels (stress hormone) and an increase in Serotonin (‘happy hormone’).
